Founded in 1994, Equanto focuses its commercial activity in the establishment of partnerships with recognized international brands and its national distribution.
Equanto was responsible for the introduction in Portugal of reputable brands in the organic market of which we highlight PUR NATUR pioneer in the production of organic yogurt in Europe and the first brand of organic yogurts sold in the
large national retail stores.
Currently we are present in almost all of the national large distribution chains with a wide range of organic, vegetarian, functional, gluten free and lactose free products.
In 2003 Equanto registered its own 100% Organic European brand - ORIGENS BIO. Since then ORIGENS BIO developed a wide range of innovative products in association with national and international manufacturers. This allowed us to create different categories like the breakfast cereals, snacks, superfoods, seasonings, frozen ready meals and others distributed in the National and International markets.
Our goal is to keep developing and producing top quality, natural, vegetarian
organic food with ORIGINAL FLAVOUR.
Equanto is also the owner of VEGGIS GREEN FOODS created to work in the non-organic vegetarian market.

Origens Bio was created in 2005 with the mission of offering a high quality and convenience food by using only ingredients from organic farming.
We were pioneers in the development of a complete line of organic frozen ready meals. We extended our offer by expanding our manufacturing and this was determinant for us to launch new product categories: superfoods, flours, sugars, grains, coconut products and many others.
Our goal is to create a complete line of organic food products for everyday life.
